This webinar aims to support teachers in understanding and planning towards the provision of Senior Cycle PE in schools. An overview of the six curricular models as well as teaching and learning methodologies for the Senior Cycle PE Framework will be explored.

School Support 2022/2023

Application for in-school support

School Support applications have now been re-opened for the current school year as well as in advance of the 2022-2023 school year.

From this September, the PDST PE team will be offering in-school support to interested schools in the area of Teaching and Learning in Senior Cycle PE. This aims to support schools in preparing for the introduction of Senior Cycle PE Framework and Leaving Certification Specification from September 2021. 

The visits can explore areas such as: 

• Embedding Digital Technology in Senior Cycle PE
• Understanding the Digital Technology requirements for LCPE 
• Planning using Learning Outcomes
• Timetabling for SCPE and LCPE
